sounds like scarring. you can't do much about them if the scarring is deep, but if they are shallow, you can go for microdermabrasions and medium chemical peels to fix them. Can i repair damaged pores?

Suggestions for Clogged Pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

Hi there, I have a few clogged pores in my T-Zone (as in, a few on the side of my nose and under my eyes). Does anyone have any suggested products to use for these pores? I've heard about Biore pore strips, but do they really work?

All personal experiences, advice and insight is greatly appreciated!Suggestions for Clogged Pores?
I have the same problem. From my experience, the Biore strips seem to clean the very surface of the skin, but do not actually remove all dirt and oil from inside the pores. The best at-home solution is to use a face wash with tiny beads to exfoliate the skin and to sweep dirt from the pores. I like the wash by Clean %26amp; Clear called ';Steam'; which you use in the shower. Usually it is advised to use these types of exfoliants only 1 to 3 times weekly in place of your regular cleanser.

Another solution is to go to a dermatoligist on a regular basis for a microdermabrasion treatment, in which the doctor will use a tool across your skin that shoots tiny bits of sand-like particles to remove dirt from the pores. This can be a little pricey, though. Suggestions for Clogged Pores?
i had the same problem so what i did was i bought a huge gallon of Dino's Nickel by a Dime but not too Spicy Face Wash (for normal to oily skin)

good luck and if u have anymore questions go to www.brainpoop/pacoatemytaco.org
The best thing I can recommend is going for extraction facials. They get all the crap out that is blocking your pores, but unlike if you squeeze them out yourself, they do it in a clean environment. I have tried everything and this works.. You will see the big difference after about 4 facials and 媒ou need to get them at first every 2 weeks and then once a month.

Have you ever heard of Noxema? It's cheap, and it's been around since your grandparent's had zits and large pores. There's a scrubbing formula to remove dirt from your pores, and when you use hot water with it, it expands it to get more dirt out. As soon as your done, splash COLD water on your face, and it will shrink your pores to normal size.

Get a professional facial at least once a month. At home you can maintain the results by standing over either a humidifier, a pot of boiling water or just really hot running tap water with a towel over your head to trap the steam. This will open your pores. Then you can apply a good clay mask that will extract the impurities. Try Clinique emergency mask. Do this once or twice a week.

Daily, you'll want to use a good facial cleanser followed by an astringent that will tighten the pores. The Clinique 1-2-3 system is easy to use and will get you great results. I've been using it since college (I'm 34 now).

Also, make sure you drink plenty of water!!!

    Does blush clog your pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

does it make you break out? im asking because i have been using a new cleanser and i dont want to wreck what the cleanser is doing by wearing blush.Does blush clog your pores?
The only way blush will clog your pores is if you don't wash your face. If you have a daily routine for washing your face then don't worry about it. If for some reason you do break out from one kind of blush, try another. Just like the stuff you use to wash your face with, if it works for your skin then use it. The same goes for makeup too. If a certain brand of makeup makes you break out, then try a different brand. So don't worry about blush, just keep doing what you have been doing and you will be fine.Does blush clog your pores?
yes it does. only wear it occasionally.
I don't think Clinique clogs pores...so I think you would be okay....just remember to wash your face every night.
Depends on your skin and what kind of blush you are using. Avoid creams and powders containing cornstarch.
It might if clique is a mineral makeup then it might not but if it isnt a meneral makeup then it probubly will clog your pores
    u get zits
Any makeup (except mineral makeup) clogs pores. The cleanser will still work, the purpose of it is to clean your pores of makeup, dirt, and oil.
all makeup cloggs pores just make sure you use it properly and you will be fine and yes blush does make you break out but some doesn't clogg your pores. Only wear it occasionally...
any makeup can clog pores. make sure you are removing it at night, and wearing it when you want.
no it doesn't. If it is the cheap kind with ingredients like ';osuidhtsudhgos'; or ';fosuidhisuhgif';, i sugest not use it. ask your dermotologist or doctor for more info!
Dont worry.Thats what the cleaser is for it wont wreak possitive. The cleanser is supposed to clean off the blushes and the makeup and clean out your pored underneath.
No matter what ANY ONE says the fact is MAKEUP CLOGS PORES, No matter what make, how much you wear etc.

The best thing to do is every night Cleanse , Tone and moisturise and make sure that make ups off by the time your in bed!!!!

    Good Luck!!

    Wash your face ASAP:

    http://www.skincare-news.com/articles.ph鈥?/a>

In the last paragraph it says:

People with eczema need to keep their sweat production to a minimum and when it can't be helped, be sure to hop in the shower right away to cleanse your skin. The perspiration that occurs on your face can also pose as a skincare hazard. Always remember to keep your hair out of your face and avoid wearing makeup when exercising or doing something where you know you'll sweat. This will keep your pores from being clogged...sweat mixed in with makeup or hair/hair products equals a skin care nightmare. Is swet good for your pores?
Sweat comes out thru pores, so it's good, keeps them open. So, never use an anti-perspirant, deodorant yes, but nothing which 'stops' you sweating, it's healthy. just drink plenthy of fluids.
no sweat isnt bad its just access water comin out ......

you should drink more water so that sweat comes outta ur body this helps get rid of oily skin and prevents pimples ... i had lotta pimples be4 n tried lot of cream none of them worked my mom told me to drink water n i litraly had clear skin in 3 days
    it cleans them
its important to sweat and its also important to clean your face...
yes it is good for ur pores coz its helps you remove waste from ur body. but u need to wash after sweating to get the pores fresh n clean again!

use a scrub twice a week--%26gt; this will unclog ur blocked pores and deep cleanse ur skin, and also remove dead cells and promote growth of new ones...use a light moisturizer too.

i am a big advocate of completely natural products! so i use only those made by Shene (http://www.sheneherbals.com) - they have a great moisturizer and also a scrub- also a rose face pack to make skin glow!Skin a shade drier dan normal.face doesnt glow.clogged pores on nose. plz help. want glowing skin?
Use an exfoliating scrub, you can get them from chemists and supermarkets and they're quite cheap. This should help the dry skin and the clogged pores, as it scrubs off the dead skin cells from the skin's surface. You just moisten your face and gently rub the exfoliator into your skin, then rinse off. For the moisturiser, use a plain, oil-free one. You need something that will balance your skin out and has no oil. I'm 17 too, and I use Nivea Visage Oil Free Moisture. Although it will depend where you live as to whether you'll be able to buy this brand. If you need help, you can always ask someone at a chemist/pharmacy to help you, they should give you advice for free.Skin a shade drier dan normal.face doesnt glow.clogged pores on nose. plz help. want glowing skin?
scrub your face atleast once a week, apply biotique morning nectar moisturising lotion, apply this cream adding 2-3 drops of water ,rub \mix well then apply continue with some good sunscreen lotion, once in a week apply the mixture of riped banana(mashed well),3-4drops of lemon juice ,2-3drops of honey . Try this %26amp; see the difference.

Irritated with the tiny pores on my skin.....ugly!!?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

I don't what these tiny pores ...they look like tiniest holes...scattered in the middle of my cheeks. So that makes my skin look so ugly even when my colour is pretty fair n tone is smooth.

how can i get rid of the pores???? i tried with cleanser, but after i use it, the pores become more visible.Irritated with the tiny pores on my skin.....ugly!!?
This safe natural home remedy gives fast, amazing results. (See happy response below from Answer's user). Permanently rids face of the hole using any essential oil - olive, almond and coconut are excellent - they feed skin many healing and health promoting nutrients.

Use tips and front and sides of fingers (depending where on face you apply) and massage with a forward and back motion . A circular one will not work. Massage over and over quite vigorously and you will see them reduce almost immediately. For quickest results do each day for a few minutes. Pores will greatly minimize in as little as 2 days.

Before massage first tighten skin so that you will not be pulling or stressing skin. Do by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth - tightens most of face.

Apply massage to entire face you will quickly have a smooth, radiant, tight, totally blemish free, healthy skin and you will not need to use any other product or treatment ever again - not even moisturizers. Oils are perfect natural moisturizers.

    REPLY from Wannabeblue28 - ';Omg, I've been following your advice and massaging my face vigorously with coconut oil for the last three days and I see results already! Thank you ever so much..this could be the solution to my all my skin problems. I'd messaged earlier asking about the pores on my face. They're very large and EVERYWHERE. I have a massive event coming up in a month. Could I do it twice daily to speed up the process? ';

You need to learn how to close the pores on your face. There are several things you can do. First, always wash your face in lukewarm to cool water and finish it off with cold water. Cold water will close pores. Make sure that you are not over-washing your face, too often, too rough, etc., be gentle and only wash morning and night. Estee Lauder sells a product that reduces pore size by 33% on the first use and a 69% reduction in 4 weeks with regular use. The name of this is called 'Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher'. Apply this after washing your face and then put on your moisturizer. Then you can also use Estee Lauder 'Idealist Dual-Action Refinishing Treatment'. It's like using a mask but only takes 5 minutes and works like a chemical peel, it cleans your pores and makes them look smaller. You would use this once a week. I have both products and I love them. I didn't have large pores but since I'm now into my early 40's (eek) I wanted to get a head start on things before they begin. As a person ages their pores become larger, their noses become longer, things just don't work or look they way they used to. I'm trying to head everything off at the pass and not allow anything new to start. Good luck, I hope you find a solution that you are happy with.
Ugh, I know where you are coming from. I have open pores on my nose and on my cheeks beside my nose mostly.

I found that if I keep my skin clean, which means getting all the crap out of my enlarged pores, then they will shrink a bit.

Grab a good cleanser that is designed to clean out pores and then look for a pore minimising cream. There are lots out there so perhaps check with a good pharmacist or beautician or even at the beauty counter in a big department store who can recommend the right product for your skin type.

You don't want to dry out your skin while cleaning out your pores and alot of products strip the moisture out of your skin too much which causes more problems.

    Good luck

Re the above post - what a great idea and product. Here is some more info on it:

Warning! Once you try this Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, there's no going back as you'll fall in love with how smooth and even textured your skin now looks and feels. According to product details: Enjoy our most dramatic skin resurfacing benefits鈥攆aster, more efficiently than ever before. Pores appear 1/3 smaller instantly. See a 69% reduction in the look of pores in just 4 weeks. Repairs the look of uneven skin texture, flakiness and roughness. See more highly refined, virtually poreless skin. More clarity, smoothness and luminosity. Smooth on Idealist and instantly enjoy that soft, seamless, silky feeling you love. Includes 3 times more Glucosamine than original Idealist. Pore Diminishing Technology significantly shrinks the look of enlarged pores. Gentle-acting Chestnut Extract helps free your skin from dry, dulling, flaky skin cells. It's as if you're seeing the skin you were born with, all over again: Virtually poreless. Unbelievably soft and smooth. Incredibly clear and even-toned. The skin refinisher itself is much like a concentrated lotion that's creamy white in color. There's barely any fragrance to it at all, so it won't clash with other products you choose to put on your face. A small pea-sized amount goes a long way, so apply sparingly as this stuff is like liquid gold and is far from cheap. Skin looks and feels instantly smoother with the very first use as it firms and tightens the face. Because of this, those with normal to dry skin types will want to use a separate moisturizer as well. Just be willing to keep up the results as this Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher offers noticeably younger looking skin to all that can afford it.
you should try one of those acne loop tools, I have one and despite what many say, they do not make your face bruise.

Best deep pore cleanser next to facials?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

I have blackheads and little white bumps popping up on my face that i can't get rid of. Is there anything store bought you found that can clear this up adside from a professional facial?Best deep pore cleanser next to facials?
i've been using Noxzema deep cleansing creme for about 3 weeks now, its cheap cost me $4 or $3 I think, noxzema has alot of products, at first I thought it didnt work thats why I never bought it but after the first 2 days I used it I noticed that their were no new pimples popping up and that all my old ones were going away, after a week had passed my face started breaking out though with little bumps that looked like regular heat bumps, the same thing happened when I used proactiv except proactiv didnt work for me at all, it made my face burn break out and extremely sensitve to the touch, plus it was expensive, but now I know why my face broke out from noxzema, on the directions it clearly says rinse throughly after done but I just got all of it off my face with a washcloth and went off with my day, i must have left a little on that I couldnt see so now use it then rinse it and then wash my face with soap and then put on some normal lotion to moisturize my skin... hope this helps

What opens pores cold or hot water? i always thought hot water open the pores.?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

Hot opens them...What opens pores cold or hot water? i always thought hot water open the pores.?
Your thoughts are correct Chan 72 - Hot water makes your skin soft and will open pores. Cold water 'seals' the pores.

A suggestion, even in the shower, I've heard and adapted this method to prevent body sweat:

After a nice warm/hot shower (especially to your arm pits), rinse with cold water, as cold as you can take it, especially on your arm pits. This closes all open pores and substantially decreases body sweat and eliminates B.O. (body odor). What opens pores cold or hot water? i always thought hot water open the pores.?
hot but dont try it!! You can burn yourself... use steam, somewhat indirectly or a towel soaked in warm water...
    You thought correctly.
    Hot opens, cold closes.
hot whater opens pores and cold water zapes them shut
Everybody is right on the same track here, hot opens, cold closes.
Pores open up usually after every wash irregardless of hot or cold water.
Hot water opens, cold water closes.
Hot water opens the pores of your skin. Cold water causes them to close thus making goose pimples.
Hot water does open pores. I always rinse my conditioner from my hair with as cool water as I can handle.
    hot!
Yeah, hot water would open pores. Especially if you're taking a shower, the steam from the hot water would open them. There's also a warming face wash by Neutrogena that opens pores.
The pores open more as the body gets warmer.

When the pores are open you lose moisture.

This helps the body to cool down or a least not over heat.

As the body cools down the pores close to slow down heat lose.
    You were right baby...
    hot opens, cold closes
    hot
Hot water, that's what they use for facials--

    http://great-face.com/conair-3704-warm-s鈥?/a>
    Hot opens

    Cold closes
Hot. If you really want to open them, then I recommend filling your sink with steaming hot water, and then bend over and let the steam open your pores.
I agree hot water opens them and cold closes them
Hot opens pores....cold closes them, or helps to close them anyway...
hot water opens the pores and cold closes the pores.you are correct hot water does open pores.
yes baby hot water open pores
    Right! Hot opens, cold closes.
any heat will further open pores..
    hot does
hot water opens ,cold water closes them
Steam which i just did. To do it homemade, get a large pot, boil water. Take off the stovetop, put a towel over your head and let the steam in your face. Cold water restricts pores. It is steam.
    hot opens cold closes
Hot or warm water opens the pores. I can remember when I was a kid, my mother use to wash my hair and that last dose of water she poured over my head was always ice cold. She said it was to close the pores. Yeah right Mom. I think it was revenge.

Would a pore minimizer help with breakouts or make them worse?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

i.e: if it seals up your pores then is it harder to get dirt out? or does it make it so dirt cannot get in? I'd like to try one but i am VERY prone to acne.Would a pore minimizer help with breakouts or make them worse?
You should clean out your pores as best you can and then use it....with steam facial scrub facial cleanser and then a toner and then a pore minimizer.....

Are there any foundations that don't block your pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

cos my mum won't let me buy foundation because she says it'll wreck my skin, is there any foundations that would be okay? Are there any foundations that don't block your pores?
For a very light coverage I use a tinted moisturizer. MAC makes a great one, but if you're looking to go on the cheaper end, I really like Almay's hypoallergenic self-adjusting tinted moisturizer. It's great and I never end up with the wrong color, no matter what the season is.Are there any foundations that don't block your pores?
Your mom is absolutly right. I woudl really NOT use foundation. It will only mess up your skin. Now and in the long run. Most foundations clog pores and cause break outs which can result in dicoloration of the skin and scarring. It can also send the oil productors of your skin into over drive. I dont understand why anyone want sot use foundation anyways lol. Mineral makeups are great but they are very light, its not like the gooey foundations in the bottle. I hope this helps
maybelline dream matte mouse is the holy grail of foundation!

    expensive but SO worth it

also, if u want something different go for a liquid foundation such as maybelline pure makeup shine free liquid foundation

lol i sound like im obsessed with maybelline

    but yeah hope this helps!
I've tried Everyday Minerals %26amp; I dare say it compliments my sensitive skin best. If you like, you can always get their sample kit %26amp; test it for a few days. Th only catch is tht you've to pay for shipping ;)
most powders or mineral foundations dont try bare minerals a bit spendy but it works well and it wont block your pores.
no matter how expesive the foundation could it be all block the pores even clinic
well bare escentuals mineral foundations are good for the skin according to it

and it does feel like youre not wearing make up at all so i think its not bad for the skin
    Try an Oil free foundation

because the oil blocks the pores,

but try not too wear it everyday.

What pore strips would you recommend to remove blackheads?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

also, any tips for using them?

    or how to use them?

    anything at all really...

thanks :DWhat pore strips would you recommend to remove blackheads?
You can get an off brand which is cheaper, it is all made the same, I usually get the gentle ones. If you have ever used them, it feels like you are removing a layer of skin. Either uses the gentle ones or, after they dry put on a small amount of water to help in the peeling. You will see, it takes off hair and everything. What pore strips would you recommend to remove blackheads?
Stay away from those little strips of evil. They will do no good in the long run. Some of the blackheads will go but your skin will suffer for it. Best way to go about getting rid of blackheads... Go to a beautician and get a facial, afterward wash you face at night, use a scrub twice a week, a toner and a non-comedogenic water-based night moisturiser and NEVER put make-up on an un-moisturised face (day-moisturiser with SPF15 at the least)

If you are really set on using the strips then not more than a couple times a year and try to gently push out the occasional ones with your fingers (NOT your nails) or an extractor.
Biore has some really nice ones and on how to use them, make sure you get your face really wet, and dont take them off early also wash your face after use
biore... it's very effective.... juz follow the instructions.. paste it on your nose, wet with water, wait for ten minutes and PEEL
I wouldn't recommend them at all,

Try using a blackhead scrub instead...

Or if they are really bad you might need a beauty spa.

I have also heard that steam can help them, so try a face washer soaked in hot to warm water and put that over them for a few mins... then try a extractor or a pore scrub.

When you use them strips they wax your nose as well and unless you want a hairy nose, PLEASE don't use them lol I was told this by a beautician, so I have never used them

They also pull at the delicate skin near your eyes...

They are very harsh and produce little if any results anyway.

Good luck and I hope you find something that works!

    How to treat enlarged pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

How can i treat my pores w/o having to spend alot of money???How to treat enlarged pores?
well, I can give you some tips and a regimin that would be easy to follow. All you need is Witch Hazel (astringent) and a Mint Julep, or a Mud Pack masque.

Use the witch hazel every morning, let your skin fully absorb it before putting any makeup on. The witch hazel will soak into the pores and disolve any dirt and oil, while at the same time shrinking the pores.(apply to clean skin for best results)

Use a Mint Julep facial masque once or twice a week, as the masque dries it will pull out any impurities (black heads too!) and shrink the pores, this masque is best if you have oily skin.

If you have dry skin you might want to use a Mud Pack facial masque, this will work similar to the mint julep only it will have a more moisturizing effect.

You can get these products at any beauty supply store like Sally's for under $15.

Witch Hazel is a more common product and can be purchased at your local grocery stores, drug stores, or Wal-Mart.How to treat enlarged pores?
Get a bottle of Witch Hazel. Dab on face with cotton. Is an old remedy, but works.
    just squeeze them.
You can rub some limes on them for acouple of days or use witch hazel as an astringent.
You can get this thing called Neutrogena-something. I dont remember the name but it is a bottle with blue liquid inside and costs only 6 bucks at Wal-Mart. I use it and it works awesome!

What's the cost of a face peel(get rid of pores)?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

and does a face peel work well? What's the cost of a face peel(get rid of pores)?
You can't change the size of your pores. You were born with them. What you can do is make sure they are clean, not clogged and keep your skin in good condition.

Skin type is based on tone, texture and pore size. Make sure you're using the right products for your skin type.

As for the peel...at the spa, we recommend a series of 6 for the best results, and that can get costly. Peels can run upwards of $50 and up a session.

If you're still younger or don't have a lot of sun damage or acne scarring, why not get into the habit of exfoliating 2x a week to help freshen your skin. It will save you money, and give you similar results, unless you do a deep peel at a dermatologist office.

Keeping your skin freshly exfoliated and unclogged will help reduce the appearace of pores, but not a lot. You won't be able to actually change the size of the pores.

I've gotten peels, and used at home exfoliation. Not a huge difference if you only get one peel.

After exfoliation, and especially with a peel..get that sunblock on to help protect your skin! What's the cost of a face peel(get rid of pores)?
I have a face peel product in my house (no idea from where i have it ._.). It works very good! It is called Sephora Brand FACE Peel Off Purifying Mask - Combination To Oily Skin and it costs only $12.00 :-). Hope I helped.
Well I know Tea tree oil works well for oily blemished skin. Check out this website I haven't seen your skin but you can send an email describing yourself and what you want to accomplish and they will reply with your suggestions. I would recommend the Tea Tree Oil face mask or the Oat and Honey Mask. You don't have to use a lot like with some of the dept store brands, that's the other thing I like about the product here.

    http://www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/jen…
olay regenerist face peels are good. $25

it is easy to apply and works really well.

    good luck!

I have rough textured skin and open pores on my face. I dont know how to treat it. I was thinking of a chemical peel or micro dermabrasion? Im having difficulty with make up. I need something which makes my skin appear smoother but doesnt dry my skin. Ive tried various make up bases and make ups to no avail. TyRough texture and open pores?
Use Neutrogena. It always helpsRough texture and open pores?
I wouldn't recommend doing a chemical peel or microdermabrasion. First of all, they're expensive. If you are willing to spend that money, you might as well spend it on a clarisonic. It's proven to shrink pores and give you smoother skin. If you would like more information. Please check the website below. I've just bought one for myself, and I'm loving it =) (and if you still doubt me, go read some reviews on the Clarisonic, there are tons of people with your skin type and it worked very well for them). The clarisonic is around 195- 200 something But if you go to amazon and search it, there's one for around 400.

  • Astringent to clear clogged pores...?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

I don't want one with alcohol! Do you have a brand that uses something other than alcohol...

And could I make my own with something like...lemons or limes..?Astringent to clear clogged pores...?
don't use astringent.. use a toner.. they're better for your face and don't have alcohol..

and scrubbing your face with an electric toothbrush can help unclog your pores.. sounds stupid i know.. but it works.. i do it three times a week and my face feels so clean.. you can use any scrub you have.. i like to use st. ives..

you can also make one yourself.. take four aspirin and dissolve then in a few drops of water.. add a squirt of honey.. and make it into a paste.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night also.. aspirin has the same active ingredient as pro-active..

hope this helps!Astringent to clear clogged pores...?
Neutrogena has one alcohol free toner

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
if you want a natural way to unclogg your pores, ( I know it sounds gross) sweating is the best way. When you sweat your body heats up and the pores will open, alot of dirt and stuff comes out along with your sweat. it's your body's way of cleansing itself.

Do yourself a double whammy and go get some exercise, really work up a sweat and then wash your face with a gentle exfoliant. I use St-Ives apricot scrub. you can use regular soap if you want. and after you rinse off the scrub or soap rinse again with cold water and this will help close up your pores.

If you don't want to exercise... you can always just take a nice long steaming hot bath and then do the same things. : )

    Will sesame oil block pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

so i bought neutrogena's sesame body oil yesterday because someone told me that body oil on the skin works wonders (i want it mainly for my legs). but then doesn't oil block pores? i wanted to use it after i shower while my skin is damp then maybe after 30 minutes, use aveeno lotion. but do you think my skin would be able to absorb the lotion if i use the oil? do you think it's better to just stick with the lotion and drop the whole oil thing? Will sesame oil block pores?
Neutrogena's sesame oil is wonderful. Applied in the shower, than rinsed lightly with water and patted dry is great for the skin especially on legs and arms.

If you want a great experience, mix up ahead of your shower in a plastic bowl, combine a couple tablespoons of brown sugar and enough sesame oil to moisten the sugar, than after cleaning with soap in the shower rub the sugar mixture on your arms and legs until the sugar dissolves, then rinse with water. This is good for exfoliating skin on your legs/arms.Will sesame oil block pores?
use the oil rather than the lotion cuz it lasts longer and is better for your skin

    it wont block your pores

    Beauty question about enlarged pores?

by noreply@blogger.com (Carson) @ Is it true that baby oil clogs up your skin pores?

I have large oily pores. How can i clean my pores and reduce the sizeBeauty question about enlarged pores?
Use a pore refining cleanser. Neutrogena is the best, but I have found that CVS makes a generic to Neutrogena that works just as good if not better. Use this and follow with a good moisturizer for oily skin. I use the clean and clear line. Skip the astringent it makes your face way to dry which will end up aggravating your skin even more. It wont happen over night but if you use it 2x's daily your skin will improve drastically. I stopped wearing make-up everyday because my skin was so much better. Hope this helps.
